Beautiful looking car

This car was a favourite of Sir Winston Churchill and you will find many photo`s on Google showing him in his beloved Daimler Drophead.

Reaearch will show you there are not many of these cars left now so obviously they are increasing rapidly in value with average prices for up and running examples ranging from £20. 00 - £35. 00. !!!

I have with the car from 15 years ago an insurance valuation of £15000…!!!  We all know that most classic cars have trebled in value in this time.

I`m sure these figures will continue to increase rapidly over the coming years no doubt due to their renown desirability and rarity.

I`ve been told that Sir Winston Churchill`s vehicle went for several hundreds of thousands.

As you can see from the pictures this car looks wonderful to the eye.   She is all up and running and performs well on both start-up and in drive.

Used regularly she should never seems to fail to start.

Nearly everything on her is functional and for a car of this age she seems very pleasurable to drive.

If the winning bidder wants reassurance of the structure and running of this car. then for a nominal fee of just £250 I will place a valid mot on her albeit this is not a legal requirement on a car of this age.

She comes with a folder full of paperwork for you to browse through at your leisure including photo`s. manuals and receipts.

Overall she is a very usable and pretty little car - but is not perfect.

She is not a trailer queen and you will no doubt find some imperfections to both body and paintwork but nothing at all that distracts from her overall beauty (in my opinion).

Likewise the interior is generally all very good but would need a small amount of tlc to make really nice.

She is mechanically good with just a small oil leak from the fluid flywheel which is common on these. I think a dial or two may be a little temperamental and the wipers need refitting.

Just to cover myself from the unrealistic amongst us there may be other items needing servicing.

The rest of the car is generally of the same level – Good but not perfect. I would say a good 6/7-10 (in my opinion).

If you have any specific questions on any part of this car please feel free to ask – Do NOT assume anything. !!!

This will make for a very cheap summer car for somebody with the added benefit of being all up and ready for the summer months.

All in all this car is an absolute bargain at what I`m selling her for and I`m convinced you`d get a handsome return on your investment if you just locked her away for a few years and did nothing (not sure why you`d want to do that though).

So if you have a genuine interest/offer. and you are prepared to back it up. then I`m sure it could be sorted between you. myself and eBay. By that I mean it is not for me to give you a price but for you to suggest one.

I hope I have covered most things but please feel free to ask as many questions as you like as one would expect with a car of this nature.

Thank you for looking

PLEASE NOTE:

Obviously due to long term storage of some of my cars I`m trading I suggest a good service/overhaul of all fluids. brakes. rubbers. clutch. running gear. engine and electrics would be advisable and in some cases needed.

Winning bidder to pay £500 non-refundable deposit via Paypal within 24 hrs of auction end!! Deposit `MUST` be paid PRIOR to collection!! This request is purely to deter the day-trippers. hagglers. re-negotiators and winning bidders who feel by their winning of the auction just puts them in the privileged position of having first refusal with the `option` to buy!!

Obviously a huge apology goes out to all you genuine eBayers who appreciate. understand and follow the correct ethics of the auction. but as like me I`m sure you`ve had similar frustrations and fully understand the need for my plea.
