This a beautifully restored 1974 MB. production date of October. 1973. In the past years. she has undergone a total restoration. and only 7. 94 miles have been put on her since. The car drives perfectly. and starts right up. No imperfections in the body or engine. NO rust. Asking less than was spent restoring the MG. and less than my purchase price. This MG has always been garaged - by myself and ALL previous owners. All service records from 1995 to date are with the car. NO wrecks or body damage ever. of any kind. VEHICLE HISTORY:According to records. the MG was purchased new in Hawaii. It was sold in March of 1982 with 62. 77 miles to an Arizona owner (2nd owner) who drove the car until August. 995 when it was sold. This owner (the third) also lived in Arizona; he purchased the car with 98. 41 miles on the engine. This owner began the process of restoration on the vehicle from the period of September to November of 2001. spending many months in the shop for this purpose - to ensure that the best possible MG came out of the shop. both under the hood and for the beauty of the car. In February 2010. the MG was shipped to Portland. Oregon for consignment to the Sports Car Shop. I purchased her in March 2010 (4th owner) and had her shipped to Oklahoma City.
All paperwork since the MG was purchased are with the car. A copy of the original and previous titles as well as the MG "Passport to Service" manual. All receipts for the work are with the car. nbsp;totaling $23. 10. 00. Restoration includes. but is not limited to: Engine and gearbox removed and rebuilt with new MG partsNEW:CamshaftBearings. nbsp;cylinders. rods. gaskets. sprocketsGrillRear bumperChrome Wire Wheel conversionCrank ShaftPiston setMBG smog headClutchExhaustGas tank removed and cleanedBrakesInterior leather seats - Biscuit colorConvertible top - Biscuit color
In 2012. I replaced the fuel pump. and removed the dual carbs for a Weber carb and fuel pressure regulator. This provided superior performance and ease of start. I still have the dual carb. which will ship with the MG. The MG is sheer perfection.
