1954 Jaguar XK140MC Roadster With Overdrive for sale

Unrestored XK140 roadsters are getting very hard to find these days.   This car came from California and has the MC engine with the bigger valve and a 4 speed manual gearbox with overdrive.    You couldn't get it any better that this.   The original head has gone missing. the one on the block now is from an XK120SE (special equipment).   The frame on the car is in very good condition and there is not rust.   The car is 90-95% complete.   The radiator. the whole windshield. the spare tire and tools are all missing.   There are probably some small bits missing as well.    The previous owner started a restoration on the car and put in new floors. new inner sills. new tonneau cover over the gearbox and there is additional other new sheet metal that comes with the car and is in the boot.    I also have a box with some misc. pieces and parts.   For instance the pedal assembly. the linkage for the throttle. some brake parts and what ever else.   That was the list of the good things.   The body needs to be completely done.   The doors. the boot lid and the bonnet are all in good shape.   The rest of the body will really need to be gone through.   I'll ship worldwide and can assist with obtaining a shipping company if needed.   Transport to the New Jersey docks is $400.   The car rolls and steers and I have a clear California title in hand.   If you have any questions email or call Ray at 001-617-838-3728.
