In 1970. Mustangs were purchased by American Raceway Inc (ARI) to be used at 5 of their race tracks.

 

Michigan International Speedway was one of those tracks who used them as their Pace cars.   There was a Convertible Mustang painted "Grabber Green" and the other was a Mach 1 in "Grabber Orange".   As you can see from the photos this is the 1 of 1 Ford Mustang Mach 1 in Grabber Orange used for 1970 at Michigan International Speedway.

 

As you look through the photos this beauty was given a "rotisserie" restoration years ago.   The vehicle has been stored in a dry. heated garage since the time I've had it.   I've really enjoyed this vehicle and the only reason I'm selling it is because it's time to move on and have somebody else enjoy it.

 

It has many features including the very desirable 428 Cobra Jet engine. 4 speed Manual Transmission. Drag Pack and a host of other options!!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  The MARTI report is available on this car.  

Also. A Henderson Ford promo car. that was used most probably at Michigan International Speedway June 6th. 1970.  This is not one of the original 12 Mustang Mach 1 Fastbacks.  It was a Henderson special dealer promo car. that still has it's value. as it was a showstopper at Michigan International Speedway and an eye catcher in their showroom.
