Lotus Elan s3 coupe.

For sale is my beautifully restored 1966 Elan an original UK car this car was exported to japan by a wealthy collector who spared no expense in having the car restored many of the invoices are in the history folder together with an extensive photographic record. The car was repatriated and sold directly to me upon its return. Today this is a fantastic example of what is in my opinion the best sports car ever made. This is my view mainly because of the driving experience these light weight and extremely well handling cars offer.

This car is in extremely good condition the body work is in very good order as is the red paint work on the car not only is the paint extremely well finished it has virtually no micro cracks and stars so common on these cars. The interior is also very good. the seats are original and are free from rips and tares.

Mechanically this car is in good working order fitted with Webber carbs the engine is running very well the gear box and breaks are as they should be an absolute delight. This car has been truly a pleasure to own and I'm very sorry that circumstances in my life require its sale. The car is taxed (tax is free). tested till September( I am prepared to MOT the car for a full year if necessary) and ready to go.
