1971 Ford M151A2 Mutt & 1967 Jeep M416 Trailer & 2001 20' Car Trailer   NO RESERVE - Bidding started at $19. 71 Highest bid wins.   Thanks and Happy bidding. 75 Pictures below
Thank you for checking out my Vietnam Era 1971 Ford M151A2 MUTT (Military Utility Tactical Truck). this Military vehicle was built in 1971 originally sent to Guam in 1972.   It stayed in service up until 1992 when it was retired.   As most people all ready know. the biggest question about this M151A2. was it ever cut in half or in fourths. many of the M151 rigs were if they were sent back to the US. so very rare to find a UNCUT example - this is a UNCUT M151A2.    See all my pictures below. I have it on my lift and it is absolutely perfect underneath for a unrestored M151. no cuts all original. nbsp;extremely clean. no rust issues. very solid.   Please see pictures.   These vehicles have the longest model run of all Jeep like vehicles. like the M38 and M38A1.   I have owned a few M38A1 Willys rigs. and I will tell you that this M151A2 is my choice hands down the one to actually drive and enjoy.   They are lower to the ground. the door opening is easy to get in and out. when was the last time you hoped in a 1952 Willys. night and day difference especially if you like to ride in parades. and actually use the vehicle.    This M151 is a Survivor. it has never been restored. which to me is far better then a restored vehicle. it has been upkept by the Military. and Collectors. it can only be original once.   It tells the story of its life. it has the feeling of what it experienced through the years. something you can not produced with a restored vehicle.     This vehicle has history. it has been upkept by the military until 1992. and good folks have owned it through the years. keeping it in this shape.   IT DOES NOT NEED RESTORED. it is perfect the way it is. it is what it looked like while in the Military. not a over restored trailer queen.   Just keep it maintained like any Military rig. and it will be very happy.    Its last major tour was on the MVPA 2009 Transcontinental Motor Convoy. and has spent its last few years in Parades and events. it is a vehicle you can get in start up and Show right away. July 4th Parades right around the corner.         Please check out all the photos below. it shows inside and out. this is a great example.    The paint has patina. it has been repainted a few times by the Military. just like they normally do. nbsp;if it needed a little spruce up. they scuffed them down and painted them. or spot painted them.   This vehicle I believe originally had the NATA camouflage paint scheme on it.   I can see a couple areas. one on the cowl were a little drab green has come off. you can see the brown and green underneath.   The paint has plenty of patina. you may be able to shine it up a little. I did in one little spot on the passenger side cowl. you can see the glossy green to take a little bit of the fade away. but that is were I stopped. nbsp; just didn't seem right to take the Originally Military Patina off of it. so let it fade back out my thoughts.   The body on this Mutt is in awesome shape. no major accidents. everything is very clean inside fenders. and tub. small little dings and such but nothing of concern. you can see everything in the pictures.   This is a very good solid example. and is not rusty. a very solid MUTT.     The floors and Unibody is in great shape. very solid. UNCUT. no rust issues. amazing for one of these rigs.     Mechanically this MUTT runs very good. it starts right up. it has been cared for. it runs like a sewing machine. no burning of oil. very clean running rig.   The transmission shifts nicely. the 4wd does work. no issues.   Brakes all work good. no issues.   The wheel spindles and bearings have all be replaced right before the MVPA tour in 2009.   This is a rig you can get in and enjoy right now. very comfortable to ride in.   The seats are in good shape. some wear but original. so they are in nice shape.   Very nice top. doors and side curtains.   It does have a Radio in the rear. it is all hooked up. it does turn on. I do not know how to work it though.    Everything Mutt related is included in the Auction. besides a few items.   The reproduction M16 no included. darker green helmet. and the Camouflage clothing that Dewayne the model is wearing.   Everything else is included.    I do not want to write to much. so please ask questions view the pictures they will answer a lot of questions you may have all ready.   This sale is for the MUTT - M416 Trailer. and 20' Car Trailer.   HERE IS THE DEAL/OPTION PLEASE READ:  Lets say you leave the 20' Car Trailer and do not want it. due to the fact that you don't need one. or you  have no need to transport it. and just plan to ship the Mutt and M416 by transport. I will Deduct $1000 off of the Final Bid if you do not want the car trailer.   If you have questions just give me a call.   So for example. just using round numbers.   Say the Package (Mutt. M416. and Car Trailer) sells for $25. 00. and you decide not to take the trailer and find another way to transport it. then you owe $24. 00.      Please read the auction and view the pictures many times. if you have questions let me know I would be glad to answer them for you.   This is a NO RESERVE auction. meaning that I am going to let this car go for the highest bid.   Thanks. *U. S. and International bidders welcome as long as your friendly!

1st of all Thank You to all who have served to protect our Country.   This is Dewayne. he works for me. his dad spent 4 years in the service. during Desert Storm. and was on the reserves and went to Afghanistan.   My father went to Vietnam in 1969. and ended his time in Cambodia and came home in the end of 1971. we were then stationed in Honolulu. HI. and then ended up at Fort Lewis.   I was about 2 years old then.       The bullet proof vest. Empty Shells. nbsp;that is on our Model. are included in the sale. the Camo gear. and helmet are not.     Behind the Flag. you will see the map of the MVPA Transcontinental Motor Convoy 2009.             Original Roll bar. in good shape. it is not installed in the M151. I will take it apart and wrap it up and put it in the trailer.   Everything you see in the pictures Mutt related. goes with it. except for a couple items.   The helmet on this little guys head. there is lighter green one that you will see in pictures that goes with it. so only 1 helmet goes.     Doors and curtains are in nice shape.   To put the drivers door on. the Snorkel needs to have another brace installed. or the current one modified. Not hard to do. just never felt the need to put the doors on.         Tow Bar. will be in trailer as well when transported.       This trailer is a 1967 Jeep M416 Military Trailer.   Used for cargo. and could also be used as a boat. it is sealed. so they could use oars or a small motor to get across water ways. pretty cool.         The M16 Replica. is not included with the sale of this MUTT. everything else goes with it in this picture.       This M60 is a reproduction prop. it is not a real gun. red tip is just there to show it is not real.   This is included in sale of the M151.       This is a 20' Car Trailer. it is included in the sale if you want to come and pick up the M151 and M416 trailer yourself. make a little vacation of it if you like.   They both fit perfectly on it. when hooked up. the M151 and M416 are exactly 20'.      I talked to my Transporter. and he said that he can Haul the Mutt and the M416 easily on a transport truck. no problem because they are connected and not to long.   His name is Mario. he has hauled lots of vehicles for me. including some M38A1's I have sold recently.       HERE IS THE DEAL.   Lets say you leave the Car Trailer and do not want it. due to the fact that you don't need one. or you  have no need to transport it. and just plan to ship the Mutt and M416 by transport. I will Deduct $1000 off of the Final Bid if you do not want the car trailer.   So for example. just using round numbers.   Say the Package (Mutt. M416. and Car Trailer) sells for $25. 00. and you decide not to take the trailer and find another way to transport it. then you owe $24. 00.       Here is my transporters number. his name is  Mario. with Zbest Transport 425-315-5929.   I told him what the Mutt and trailer is so he will know what they are when he gives you a quote.                                 The top is in very nice shape no rips or tears.                                                                                                             Here are the folks that took this Mutt on part of the MVPA Transcontinental Motor Convoy in 2009. very nice new paper feature on the couple and the event.   I do have this larger US Flag that comes with the Mutt.       This is an earlier picture of the Mutt. that I found in some of the documents that I have for it.   Not sure were this photo was taken or event.           I do have the original M416 Data plate. you can see it in the picture below.           Yes the Mutt. M416 and Car Trailer all have Oregon Titles.         The Temp gauge is the only gauge not working.    The blue light in the center is the high beams. not sure what the other light blue one is for.   The big Orange one. I can not turn on. but maybe I do not know how to do it either.       Engine comportment is in very nice shape. everything is in working order.   The Mutt runs like a top. like a sewing machine.   Mechanically it is in great shape.         Original Engine tag on drivers side of engine block.         This MUTT is exciting to look at on the outside. but this is were it gets really interesting.   This is what everyone wants to know first. is it  a Cut up Mutt. or UNCUT Mutt. big difference in value and collectability.   This is a UNCUT EXAMPLE. and has amazing floors and frame rails.   This Mutt has been well preserved.                                                   Very nice restored trailer.   I do not have a picture of it. but the passenger side tire. has a side wall crack in it. about 3" long. It is only on the surface. probably fine for short trips or showing. but a long trip. the tire might need to be changed. All the floors are very nice. in between the front seats behind the M60 stand. there was something in the past. that they must have installed and then took out. there is a 3" x 10" patch.                   It has 2 new Battery's just installed.   It is still running on 24v system.                         This is between the front front seats. must have had something installed at some point of time. and they welded it back in. who knows.         Heater blower works. light switches all work.
