Vehicle Description:

This Patriotic 1976 CJ-5 is 1 of only 2 surviving Jeeps left out of 4

Toledo Jeep Plant Artist Paul Clawson painted 4 matching American Flag Jeeps. 2 of his Patriotic Jeeps sat at the foot of the giant JEEP sign in Toledo to honor 9-11 as a symbolic homeland response.   Sadly the Toledo Display vehicles got somehow overlooked by the factory and ended up getting scrapped.

Only 2 remain making them extremely rare. His personal 1976 CJ-5 and a 2002 Liberty.   The Liberty was intended to be sold as a promo vehicle to Kroger Foods. The deal with Kroger never happened and it was eventually sold as a demo to its patriotic new owners in NY where titled and driven.

Lost & Found:

After purchasing Paul's 1976 CJ-5 I actually found the missing NY Liberty. Both Flags are together again! 

These are extremely rare public interest Jeeps that bookmark 9-11 and our immediate homeland response from UAW-Chrysler and represent the meaning of United We Stand.  

Since it's restoration in 2002 Paul's Patriotic 1976 CJ-5 has been displayed at Camp Jeep in Branson Missouri. 5th 3rd Field in Toledo Ohio to commemorate the 1st anniversary of 911. several parades and many other events.
