For sale 1943 Ford T-16 Universal Carrier.
Beautifully restored to original specifications! This carrier was produced by Ford USA for the British and Canadian Army. it was later sold to the Swiss Army. I bought this carrier from a dealer in Holland in 2012. it has since undergone an extensive no expense spared restoration.
It has lots of original features and genuine NOS fittings including the rear axle. dashboard and lights. The wiring is a copy of the original harness made by Vintage Wiring of Maine.
The V8 engine runs very sweet and starts first time. every time! The carrier has all new steering brakes.
The carrier is fitted with original pioneer tools. oil and water cans. Also full WW2 19 set. this is also fully restored to a very high standard.
This carrier has new fuel tanks x2. new radiator. complete exhaust system.
You will not find a better example of the T-16.

Hello, Is this carrier still for sale please?
My dad drove a T16 from Normandy to Berlin in 44/45 with the 5th Bn.Coldstream Guards... he died 2 weeks back, the last of his battalion. I'm going to re-trace his journey through France, Belguim, Holland and Germany this summer an am considering using a carrier.
