Perfect "Bonding Experience" Project - Unbeatable!

Sale price: $820.00 make an offer

Seller's notes: "This is solely a project car that is not that far from running, but needs some TLC body-wise. There is some front-end damage from a curb that threw itself in the car's path on it's last tour. There is slight frame damage which can be pulled straight. Unfortunately, although the car has waited 6 years in storage to wait for the TLC needed to restore it to its beautiful (and deserving!, original glory, our paths are taking a turn in a different direction. We are hoping to find someone who will love this car as much as we. >>It does not run (no battery, so we haven't even tried since then) -- original engine has been just sitting there in the car's little belly just waiting.<< Buyer will be responsible for transport. Some rust, dent in driver's door is a simple pop-out. Mileage is original."

It's got to go! It wants to go! Unfortunately. our lives have changed in a different direction (the 16 1/2 year old decided he wasn't interested -- what!?!). so we have to let it go to someone who can provide the TLC she needs. Our loss is your gain. though. because you simply will not be able to find a project foundation like this car. With your expertise and elbow grease. your initial investment can increase as much as 1200%!!!

The car met a curb the hard way years ago when it jumped out to greet the car unexpectedly. The car didn't fair well in the little get-together and has been in storage for over 6 years. waiting. just waiting.

There is some front end damage from this last little outing: the frame is slightly bent at the front fender fork but can be pulled out; it DOES NOT affect the alignment of the base frame/driving. The tires are good enough for your test drive after getting the engine primed & ready. The engine is the original one. intact. but we haven't started it to check issues since we removed the battery when we caused its disability. The convertible top has one mentionable leak near where its attachment meets the rear of the driver's side window; so. it is not an immediate concern.

It has a Weber carburetor. More importantly. YES. that IS electronic overdrive you see there. Oh. and did we mention the independent rear suspension?

We've had one looker tell us that it is only good for parting out (and then made a laughable offer! Ha! The ploy didn't work. Anyone worth their salt in the automobile restoration world would be able to turn this gal into a dream car for fun in the sun. Once restored. if done really well. this car could readily then sell for anywhere from $10k to $12k.

Buyer is responsible for vehicle transport. Minimum $200 non-refundable deposit due through PayPal within 3 days of winning auction and remainder paid in CASH in person. Will then hold for up to 10 days for pick-up and transport; otherwise. car will be sold to next available/interested buyer.
