A nice MGB GT.
All original paint. straight body. Car came from Utah. via New Mexico.  Always in dry climate.  No rust in floor. trunk. or inner rockers.  Slight rust in the doglegs that you can see in the pictures. Normal dents and dings consistent with a 40 year old car.  All the chrome is in good to great shape. bumpers and grill and headlight rings near perfect.  Some dents on side moldings.
The interior is pretty good. all the rubber mats are there. in good shape and usable.  Comes complete with an entire Moss interior kit. less rugs.  The door cards and pulls are already installed.  It will need a new headliner and door seals and carpet for the rear compartment to be good to go.  There is a crack in the dash that's shown in the pictures.
Engine runs but oil gage doesn't register on start up. then it operates normally.  Since it"s a mechanical gage and direct connection to the oil system. I suspect theres a problem with the engine oil system.  Buyer should be prepared for a engine rebuild.  Transmission shifts fine and O/D works well.
Brakes front and rear are completely rebuilt with new drums. linings. wheel cylinders. springs. disks. calipers and pads.  New front wheel bearings and control arm bushings.  Most other bushings have been replaced.  At one time the M/C leaked and the paint under it was damaged and surface rust set in.  That's all been cleaned and rust stop applied.  The car comes wiith a new M/C and clutch cylinder. but they're not installed.  All the work was done to a high standard.  The backing plates are powder coated and any fastners that needed replaced were replaced either with grade 8 or stainless depending on the application.
There's a chip in the windshield and scratch on driver's side glass. all other glass is good.  Windshield and rear window rubber is good.
The jack. tools and spare are original and perfect.
There are a lot of spare parts that come with the car. including books and manuals.  Ive tried to show them in the pictures.
I have a clean CA title in hand.
The car has good bones and would make an excellent candidate for a project.  In fact. that's why I bought it.  A retirement gift for myself.  My plan was to teach myself all the skills I'd need to restore the car and give me something to do in retirement.  Unfortunately health issues set in and I can no longer get in and out of the car.
There is no warranty on the car.  I require a $500 non-refundable deposit within 48 hours from the winning bidder.  The balance can be paid either by cashers check or wire transfer. If by cashers check the check will have to clear my bank before the car ships. Buyers with no history or negative history check with me prior to bidding.
I have described this car to the best of my ability. but it's a 40 year old car and there may be other issues that I haven't found.  It's up to the successful bidder to verify the details. Please ask questions prior to bidding.  I have a great eBay rating and want to make sure my customers are happy.
