The Mini Mayfair has been an icon of the mini around the world for over fifty years. From the Rover brand it's offering the luxuries of a Mayfair including the wood and velour seats. The Mini Mayfair represented an opportunity to own a mini with a bit of comfort and a luxury feel with cars not far removed from the original minis of the 1960's.
This mini is presented in Green paintwork with a silver roof. an excellent colour choice for these classic minis. The paintwork itself is in good order and has had full strip and re spray done to it to bring it back to the showroom shine. still showing a deep shine with all of the body panels line-up well and are free from dents or serious scratches. The underside has also been repainted and wax oiled. We have just carried out a full detailed valet including removing the interior and carrying out a Clay bar clean with a HD wax done by our in house valet team who are Auto Gym trained. All of the plastic trim including the chrome front and rear bumpers are in good order with no scuffs or unsightly damage and have been replaced with new parts. All of the original factory windows remain. beside the screen which has been replaced.
The cream cloth seats are in excellent condition with none of the usual sagging or bolster wear to be found. the rear seats are in notably fine order. Looking across the dashboard there is no sun damage or cracks to be found and all surfaces remain tidy and again we have replaced the wood with new dark wood. Smaller details such as the steering wheel. gear knob and handbrake are showing minimal signs of wear and again have been replaced where needed. The black carpets are clean and tidy throughout and protected in the foot-wells with black over-mats.
In the history file there are many of the MOT certificates present. showing the mileage is true to the vehicle as well as a service book stamped up to 55. 00 miles and many invoices for work carried out and replacement parts. We have carried out a full restoration of the car including a full referb of the original wheels; all new brakes and brake pipes and backing plates; new battery and tyres; new lights; new badges and new indicator lamps to name a few parts; oil service and new MOT. totalling to over £4000 to keep this example in fine order. As such this example is in excellent mechanical condition and drives superbly. All invoices are present to back up the repairs we have done. A great Classic only going one way in value and a must for any Mini lover at £7. 95
