Southern Roadcraft was created by brothers Ian and Brian Nichols
in 1984. They saw a niche for quality replica motor cars available
within a realistic price range. Together with their team of
craftsmen. Ian and Brian. they built an enviable reputation for
superior products based on finer engineering. ease of assembly and
outstanding value for money.
Initial success came from the quality of their Cobra replica but
the Daytona soon followed as. back in the booming 1980's. the
prices of classic Ferrari's were soaring and Crocket and Tubbs in
Miami Vice brought the gorgeous Daytona to the attention of
millions. People were duly impressed with espadrilles. rolled back
sleeves. the Daytona and they wanted them all.

This Ferrari Daytona recreation is one of the Southern Roadcraft
cars. Based upon a Daimler Double Six Auto. this car is presented
in Ferrari Rosso and is complimented by the Ferrari style alloy
wheels. Climb inside the recently re-trimmed tan leather Daytona
interior. hold the wood rimmed steering wheel and view the classic
contrasting black dashboard with its aluminium instrumentation
panel keeping the driver well informed. The Daytona starts easily
and idles smoothly. Select drive via the Daimler automatic gearbox
and forward motion is delivered in a smooth manner with a great
sound emitted from the twin tail pipes. The hood erects simply and
quickly with the advantage of electric windows to also aide in
keeping out any inclement weather.

The history file contains a build cost sheet as well as various
invoices and old MoT test certificates. The vendor advises that the
Ferrari will arrive at the sale with a fresh MoT test certificate.
This attractive recreation of an iconic Ferrari is awaiting a lucky
new owner to experience its wonderful GT performance.
