This car has had a lot of work done to everything except the interior which is the original cloth. carpets and headliner.   The engine has new valves. tappets. valve springs. lifters. cam. head and turns over like a swiss watch.    car has a master cut off switch to save the battery. and an electric fuel pump so that it doesn't have to turn endlessly to start.   The overdrive has a new switch and I believe that we replaced the pinion.   It is the R-9 not the R-11.   Belts and hoses are good.   The paint has been resprayed but has the inevitable scratches where the hood grates against the A pillar as it lifts up and there are some minor chips along the sides so the paint is not perfect but looks good and is serviceable.   Lights work. turn signals work. the car passes state inspection in Vermont every year. which may not be rigorous. but the lights and wipers have to work to pass.   The rear suspension has new shocks.   Radio hums but doesn't really work.   The clock is battery driven and ticks but doesn't keep good time.   dual spot lights do work if you want to scare your neighbors at night.   They look nice but I have yet to find a practical use for them.   The tires are wide white sidewalls with plenty of tread.    I took off a set of good radials which will go with the car.    The radials track better but require a strong arm to maneuver and the wide whites look better.   This car goes down the road in comfort. will cruise at sixty with the overdrive.   I could drive it to deliver within a fifty mile radius.   It sits in Arlington. Vermont at a secondary house. and if you want to see it and drive you have to call in advance so I can get up there.   Number is 914 525 7000 (cell).   I have had it for at least five years. purchased it from a west coast dealer and it arrived with poor paint and a very rough motor.    it turns out that they had braised the hydraulic lifters which necessitated all the motor work.   I should have the bills somewhere in my basement. but the work was done at a reputable restoration shop in Connecticut.   Some may value the original interior. the faux wood grain on the dash is in reasonable condition. though the window sill drivers side is  worn into a brown mono tone.   The plastic wheel is un-cracked and the horn works.   The pictures seem to make the cloth look a little redder than it actually is.   the worst part is the tear in the bead on the drivers side cushion seen in the photos.   This was the top of the line ex the limos.   headliner is in good shape. some staining of rear shelf.   rear quarter pane glass is cracked on one side and the passenger window is a bit cloudy if you are nit picky.     I have tried to mention all the flaws but over all the car makes an impressive appearance both on the road and in the garage. The pictures reflect its visual appearance. you have to drive it to appreciate the motor.   Can be driven a long ways for delivery if you have the time.   Will cruise at sixty effortlessly.

Do you happen to have the large wheel shields.?
Where is the auto located?
Am I correct in assuming it does have overdrive?
