 Here we have a rare opportunity to purchase the last Mini on the road in private hands.  The Mini was produced between 1959 and 2000. nbsp;In the end 5. 3 million Minis were sold. making it the most popular British car ever made. The last of these were the Mini Cooper sport 500 and were limited to a production run of 500 numbered cars. This car is number 497 and so is forth from the end  of production. ar 500 is in the Heritage Motor Centre (and won't be sold)and 499 and 498 are not on the road.
The car was won in a raffle by the first owner but as he had various cars already at his disposal after a few months he requested the dealership to sell it on behalf. Original advert by Edwards of Stafford below:

The Mini (at 1350 miles on 2nd Feb 2002) was purchased by a gentleman who was being transferred from his employment with Land Rover over to the Mini development side. He was employed by Mini (now under BMW ownership) to ensure the mini was fit for service from a repair and maintenance aspect. He owned this car for the next 11 years.
Hopefully the photographs convey the Minis condition.
                                                The rocker cover has been replaced with an alloy version. The original one will be included in the sale.                                                    All of the tyres are in good condition and also the car will come with another alloy wheel and tyre (in addition to the spare in the boot).
