Jaguar E-Type 3. 8 FHC 1962 LHD for total restoration.   Selling to fund an outside bonnet lock restoration this car is very rotten but surprisingly straight. The spec is the classic cream with a red interior. It was built 12 Mar 1962 and not quite early enough to be a flat floor. Originally exported to New York. I purchased the car from California. along with several others. The car is very incomplete. but all the main components are there and it has matching numbers.  For the UK buyers. the car is relatively easy to convert to RHD and companies such as Hutsons can provide all the parts.

Body wise the front bulkhead is salvageable but the rest needs replacing and a new shell. based on the bulkhead. is probably the way to go. The bonnet is very good. less the front underpan. coming from another car and the engine frame are straight and free from damage.   The engine does not turn.   There are some door frames and glass but basically you get what you can see in the photos.

 Properly restored. as an early car. it would fetch over £100k but loads of work and lots of parts to source.

 In addition to the Heritage certificate I have the Certificate of Title from the USA and the UK / EU import document showing the car is duty paid.   Please call me on 07884 072863 to discuss or view.
