We are having to say goodbye to our wonderful Rare 1973 classic Bedford CF Hard Scoop Ice Cream Van. Lulu.  She is in amazing condition. fully restored and ready to go for this season.  
An Original Morrison built ice cream van in blue and cream. Not only has she been lovingly restored outside but inside. painted in cream. she has 2 original black bedford seats- making her even more rare. As well as allowing for 2 people travelling legally in the van. both seats are designed to swivel for those all important wedding shots!!   In addition she has loads of original features including a huge Morrison 6 lid freezer which was fully re-gassed last year. a cone rack and Morrison twin sink.
Under the bonnet she has a fully reconditioned 1. 8 petrol engine that purrs.  This is the original engine. including gearbox. that has been completely rebuilt by specialists including having several parts built from scratch. She has just sailed through her MOT and is now Tax exempt and of course London Emission Zone compliant which makes her really economical to run!! 
She is a really beautiful van. currently branded with our business. LickyLikey (although these are vinyls so easily removed) as well as the slogan 'ice cream just got fabulous' and is in really great condition. There is a small tear to the fibreglass near the back door but this is easily fixable and finding a van of this age in this quality condition is a rarity 
We have had some great times with Lulu but unfortunately a change in priorities means we can no longer give her the airtime she deserves- she could be fantastic at parties. fetes. weddings & events.  really taking advantage of the yearning for all things vintage. but we just don't have the time to make the most of her wonderful assets.

hi what did it sell for ? , my friend now owns this , just had big rebuild on it due to a rear end shunt , he bought it damaged , now in sprayers , getting done in his colours
