Sale price: $4,000.00 make an offer

Seller's notes: "You are bidding on a 1972 MG Midget that I have owned since 2000 and imported from the UK in 2001. It is finished in British Racing Green with Black Vinyl interior. It is RIGHT HAND DRIVE, which actually works great in the US as it places you to the side of the road and protects you better in the event of an accident. The car also features a wooden Moto-Lita steering wheel, new door panels and 13" mini-lite replicas with all-season tires. The engine was re-built in 2004 and was modernized with a digital ignition and a photo-electric switch, replacing the points and condenser. It has a straight-thru, custom-built exhaust that sounds superb with lot's of raspy, crackling on the over-run. The car is registered in NJ on historic "QQ" plates and is EXEMPT from motor vehicle inspections and safety requirements. The body does need some work (Is a "good 10 footer"),but constantly get's admiring looks. It is also quite small at only 4.5 ft x 11 feet. Runs well but does need some attention"

You are bidding on a 1972 MG Midget that I have owned since 2000 and imported from the UK in 2001.
When you drive this car. you cannot help but feel like Stirling Moss in an endurance race from the 50's or 60s - so much fun from such a small car.

This MG Midget is finished in British Racing Green with Black Vinyl interior.  It is RIGHT HAND DRIVE. which actually works great in the US as it places you to the side of the road and protects you better in the event of an accident.
The car also features a wooden. Moto-Lita steering wheel. new door panels and 13" mini-lite replicas with all-season tires.  It has been garaged for the past 14+ years and has a new. high-performance Optima battery with trickle charger.
The engine was re-built in 2004 at 104. 00 miles and was modernized with a digital ignition and a photo-electric switch. replacing the points and condenser.  With these changes. it is actually quite reliable.  The re-build actually included a slight over-bore by the master mechanic with forged pistons and makes in the area of 70 HP (a few more than stock).  The engine also featured a polished cam cover and K&N air filters leading into the twin SU carbs.
It has a straight-through. custom-built exhaust that sounds superb with lot's of raspy. crackling on the over-run.  The car is ideal on a twisty. country lane at 45 MPH.  Good. pure motoring.  The 4 speed manual has a wonderful. direct. mechanical feel and shifts very well.  You will love driving this little car.  I am selling as I am buying a new cabriolet that fits my family better.
The car is registered in NJ on historic "QQ" plates and is EXEMPT from motor vehicle inspections and safety requirements. The body does need some work (Is a "good 10 footer"). ut constantly get's admiring looks.  It is also quite small at only 4. 5 ft x 11 feet. Runs well but does need some attention.
I will also include a bunch of spare parts. extra toneau cover and other items to complete your motoring experience.
Again. the car does require some work to bring it to ideal condition. but at this price. you will not find more car or more fun for less money.  I would recommend a new set of hoses. a front brake caliper rebuild. some suspension rebuild and professional body work over time.
Buy it Now - and take advantage of the Spring!!!
NOTE: Buyer must pick-up in NJ.
