1962 Ford F100 Unibody - 429 -C6 Hard To Find These!!!

 You Have To See This Fully Restored Beautiful 62 Ford F100 Unibody!!! These are getting very hard to find and this one is a Real Sleeper - Very Quick and with the Thumper Cam. it sounds and Feels Very Radical !!! This truck has most of the original parts as they were in good shape. The 429 engine. C-6 automatic transmission. Floor Shifter. Wheels. and Carpet were not stock to this truck. Exterior Mirrors are aftermarkets. You see by the pictures. this truck is nice top and bottom. restored on a rotisserie. painted with a 2 stage Urethane Paint with PPG Clear Coat - sanded and buffed. The 429 motor is rebuilt - bored out with new pistons. rods. bearings. Thumper Cam. Edelbrock manifold with a 600 Holley. and runs awesome!! Still breaking in the motor. Heads are '68's with small chambers and stud rockers. (similar to D0VE Heads) The C-6 Automatic was rebuilt and has a 2500 stall converter. The front Tie Rod ends and Spring Bushings were replaced as were all four complete brakes. The Bumper and Grille are rechromed and look brilliant!! All of the emblems and Ford Letters are the original and were buffed out. All window rubber and door weather-strip is new. Underside frame was blasted. sanded. covered with two coats of POR 15. and painted Satin Black.

The radio is in great shape. but never worked for me - it may be a simple fix. but most buyers may want a better unit mounted under the seat (please don't butcher an original dash). so I left it in for nostalgic value. Wipers. fan. lights. signals. and vents all work.

The miles on the odometer are not confirmed as the original owner passed away - I was told they are accurate. but you decide - I know the truck was in great shape when I purchased it.

I have the original 292 V8 motor (running when I pulled it) and 4 speed transmission and clutch and they can go with the truck if you so desire.

I personally restored this truck and purchased it from the original owners family. I have been restoring vehicles for over 30 years and take pride in my work.
