Austin Morris Mini Pick-up

Purchased from a guy who spent thousands of pounds and many hours restoring it. I am selling due to other up and coming projects.

The following information is the details used when I bought the pick-up. it explains its full specification and information on work that has been carried out.

BODY AND RUNNING GEAR

This is an original pickup and not a conversion of any sorts. This beauty has undergone a major restoration using heritage panels A panels inner/outer. wings. front panel. scuttle panel. tailgate so all new and rust free. New rear quarters o/s n/s good somerford repros. inner and outer lower valances. It has had 5 litres of waxoyl in every nook and cranny and the car is kept in a dry garage

Fully rebuilt 1380 engine omega pistons. minispeed stage 3 head. Cooper head gasket roller tip rockers. Kent cam lightened and balanced crank/flywheel. Hiff 44 SU on mg metro alloy inlet with minispeed lcb running into a 1"3/4 single box exhaust all brand new.

Fully rebuilt gearbox with all seals and bearings replaced etc.

The engine runs perfectly and gearbox is excellent with no noises crunching or whining.

Cooled by new 4 core radiator and has a sweet billet alloy thermostat housing from dsn classics. spax adjustables . brand new quickrack. track rod ends.

All new copper brake lines throughout with Goodridge aeroquip hosing. new discs. pads. rear cylinders. brake shoes and hand brake cables (both parts).

New rear sub frame painted in durable gloss chassis black . polybushes in black fitted.

Solid front sub frame mountings and polybushed top and bottom steady bars.

EXTERIOR

Sportspack wheels in mint condition and very good tyres. sportspack style arches.

Cool angel eye headlights with blue halogen bulbs

Very good bare metal respray in a very bright silver.

New tonneau cover. rear area is boarded out in hexagrip marine grade ply so doesn't rot with oak running strips to the floor.

The doors have all new window channel rubbers and door seals.

new bumpers front and rear with overiders. New Cooper grill.

INTERIOR

Cobra Monaco s bucket seats (drivers adjustable). dynamat style soundproofing applied to roof. rear bulkhead. insides of doors. footwells front and rear (makes a big difference can actually hear stereo).

Sony CD with 6x9y s in custom made boxes discreetly positioned. mint black headlining and black doorcards. fully carpeted rear bulkhead and floor
