Jaguar MKV DHC 1950I have taken the liberty to put this car back together for those who were sceptical of missing partsThis is an original DHC body. but the running gear and chassis are from a sedan. The compliance plate is for the running gear and all matches. I don't have the compliance plate for the DHC as I bought this from a deceased estate and the plates could not be found. It was going to be the 2nd DHC that I was to restore for my wedding car business but since I have sold the business I have no intention of doing it anymore. A lot of work and effort have already been put into this car. The body has been straightened and repaired all except for the door skins and wheel spats. It has been brushed with a primer and ready for final paint preparation. Underneath has been painted in 2pac black. It has a brand new firewall. brand new floor pan. The timber door structures are all new as well as the roof timbers and internal door timbers. The 2 front seats are DHC seats and do fold down. but the rear seat is a sedan seat and needs some modification before it is re-trimmed . The coach work is also from a sedan and needs to be worked and lengthened a little for the doors and rear only. The front coach work is all there. Also included is a few sheets of walnut elm burl veneer to reveneer the coach work and the stain and glue. There is enough for the whole car. All chrome work is on the car except for the door trims and rear trims. I do have one original rear trim but the other and the 2 door trims need to be fabricated. I have included sedan trims so you can cut and weld. Engine is complete and rocket cover has just been re-chromed.
