Welcome to my auction for my 1974 Triumph Stag which is in excellent condition. It is a real head turner and owning one in Magenta is becoming somewhat of a rarity. A  truly iconic piece of British motoring history.  
She has covered just of 79. 00 miles and has virtually full history with is missing only just a few MOT's from the very early days. It has its MOT on Tuesday 6th May so will come with 12 Months ticket. I will also put 6 months tax on it once it has the MOT certificate.  
I have got receipts for in excess of £4. 00 that has been spent on it over the years. many of which are from Rimmer Bros who supply most parts for the Triumph Stag's.  The condition is in my opinion is very good having been restored to a very high standard by the previous owner some years ago. the only area that required attention was the wheel arches which which were repaired to a very high standard and does not even show.  

Engine:The engine is completely original and runs exceptionally well. I can often leave it for a number of months before starting and it fires up first time every time and has never missed a beat!  It has a straight through exhaust which small mufflers and it has a lovely purr.  The Auto box functions just as it should and changes up and down without any problems. When the oil hasn't fully warmed up it revs slightly higher changing into top gear but is fine as soon as she's warm.  
Interior:The interior is in very good condition for the age of it with no rips or tears. it has an extra bit of insulation below the floor to stop added noise but all in all its in good order. The wood dashboard is very original and all of the instruments and interior lights work just as they should.  
Exterior:The soft top roof goes up and down as it should. I've always left the roof down and put up once or twice a year. I got caught out by the rain once! The roof is black mohair and in good condition. it has one small repair on the drivers side which is hardly noticeable. I also have the matching hardtop to go with it. The paintwork is in very good order with just a few small chips or blemishes. There is nothing better than driving it in the sun being blinded by the shine on the bonnet! Under the bonnet all of the original stickers are there and there is no rust or signs of it anywhere.

The Original Hard Top Roof in Magenta (being fiberglass the paint has mottled and there is also a blemish on it where the color has been lost. ideally it could do with a respray if you planned to use it.  Tow Bar (Not fitted)Box of spare parts which have been accumulated over the years. Original Number plates.

The only reason for selling is because i have several other classic cars and i just don't have time to use them all enough so very sadly I've chosen to let this one go. so someone else can have the pleasure of driving such a great car!
