Thanks for checking out our family's “Pearl”. She has been a fantastic addition to our lives. but now it is time to say goodbye and send her on to another loving home.

Up for your consideration is a fantastically gorgeous on frame restored 1957 Chevy 210. We did not restore this car ourselves. this was one of those deals that came along and we took a chance and have never regretted it.   We owned a '32 Ford and the owner of the ‘57 thought it would make us a good trade and he was right. We had room for our two kids and a few of their friends.

We had a few minor mechanical issues at first. it overheated so we put in a new fan sensing switch (every one of these I have ever used has too high cut in temp) the carburetor needed some tuning and the timing was off a bit. we put on a new Hitachi style starter to clear the headers and we were off and driving. This might be why the owner wanted to trade? We are not really sure. because we got the better end of the deal.

This car appraised and is insured for $40. 00.

The engine is super clean. as you can see. It runs like a watch. there is NO SMOKE and it does not use any oil. The previous owner told us it was a 1969 Camaro 4-bolt main engine that was rebuilt and balanced. I do not know if this is true but it certainly runs like new.

The transmission was rebuilt as well and shifts like a dream.

The battery is in the trunk. This is nice! Un-clutters the engine space and it is easy to get to in the back.

The paint is truly nice and the light color is easy to take care of. It is actually FORD EDGE color. The white roof and the rear tri-angle is a great combination.

The real treat of this car is the interior. It was done by a real pro in leather and I have been all over it with a fine tooth comb and I cannot find any flaws. The headliner was done in matching leather as were the garnish moldings. And as if that wasn't enough. they finished of the trunk with a matching pull down door to access the battery and have a nice place to store all the car show necessities. You can see the inside lid of the trunk and hinges have been finished in leather as well. The carpet is new.

I have had her to about 10 different car shows and when I share the interior with people they are astonished at how great it looks. Most comment they have never seen an interior so nice. I asked the interior guy that I have had put my cars together in the past and he said he would charge around 8-10k for that kind of a job. but he doubted that he could match the quality of our car.

I have owned three antique/restored muscle cars and this one floats like a cloud. My back does not ache when I climb out from the ride the miles blow by painlessly.

The only things that need attention are the heater hoses need to be hooked up. We ran a pressure test on the core and it showed fine (there was no way I was risking that interior if the core was bad!) We only run the car when it is nice. so we haven't bothered with it. There is some discoloration/corrosion on the driver's side bumper end. The rear bumper needs adjustment. I just have not worried about it and it really doesn't seem that noticeable.

The Tires and wheels are new. The suspension pieces and shocks are new. Everything is nice and tight and alignment showed perfect. Window regulators are new and work flawlessly.

The receipts for the parts and pieces take up two 1” binders; I will pass those on with the car to the new owner. The previous owner knew what it takes to make a nice car. NO AC and NO Power windows- this was a real blessing with the gremlins I had in my other cars.

I hope you enjoyed looking at our car. That is what like about ebay so much.

If you choose to bid. please check first with your wife. husband. minister. dog. sister. dad. banker. accountant. old third grade teacher. your neighbor. the home owners association. or whoever might tell you NO after you submit your winning bid. I will not be kind if you have wasted my time and money for this listing. I have a clear title. I DO NOT NEED TO SELL. I won't let her go until the check has cleared and I have my money.

Another thing I would like to add. Please hold your criticisms and any diatribes. I have found those that have nothing good to say about another man's car often have a car much worse or no car at all.

I will not consider any low ball offers or any trades at this time. This car is almost 60 years old. I do not offer any warranties and it is sold as is where is. It is your responsibility to arrange shipping and I will help load it. Please bid wisely. good luck.
