RM2173 with an original AEC 590 engine & typical LT interior as used up until the refurb era came along. This bus was part of the LT reserve fleet that languished at hatfield ready for service if needed. I've owned her for around 15yrs with the idea being to restore her to a decent preservation standard but alas due to work hours etc & regretfully the passing of my uncle who worked in the engine shop at chiswick all his working life under the supervision of Colin Curtis this has become near on impossible for myself. The bus is kept under cover as you can see at a monthly rent of £62 which by todays standards is good & is relatively local to me. All parts are with the bus including a new upper deck window which was somehow broken but not fitted. The one thing she is without are batteries. they were taken out years ago to keep dry at home but were stored on concrete which apparently kills them. I still have them but highly unlikely they'll work ! She always started first time with no problems & as soon as she fires you know it's an AEC. Cab area has had some work done to it such as paint. drivers seat & gear selector & the removal of the assault alarm. This was just cut out so you'll need an electrician to give you lights & indicators etc. Some repaneling has been done to the outer lower deck area.  It was originally sat for some years with the handbrake off but another owner for some reason must have looked in the cab & put it back on hence the rear brakes have binded ! If you're looking for a project to restore a near original icon & have the know how or friends with the right know how this RM could be back on the road in months. Upper deck was stripped out ready & the rexine taken off as someone had used a Stanley knife on it. all the seats & fittings are with it as well as a new roll of rexine.

It is very much with a heavy heart that I'm selling this icon but I can't do her any justice now & it's not right that she's hidden away when with a little effort she could be on the road again. First allocated to Willesden for about 14yrs & finished at Westbourne Park.

If not using paypal then the funds must clear before I hand ownership over.

I am writing to ask you to send us the pricelist of the London buses. We are interested in the following models AEC, Bristol, Titan Leyland.
Could you mention please, the following information:
the price of each available bus;
its technical condition;
whether it is run and drive;
the dimensions of each bus ( length, height, width);
registration documents;
the photographs of the buses;

Will it be able to dismantle the engine, transmission, clutch, the front and back axles with the wheels; radiator, gas tank, drive shaft, expansion tank? What will be the price the of this dismantle? The reason for this dismantle is because the customs don’t allow to import to Ukraine the vehicle which has no ecological standard EURO-5, only the body of the bus is permitted to import, all other dismantled components we would like to transport separately from the body of the bus.

What are the possible ways of the shipping of the bus: by sea RO-RO, by railway or by land, taking into consideration the height of the bus body?
