A truly stunning completely restored classic Beetle. Bertie was born in 1973 as a 1300cc Beetle dressed in his gleaming red coat (originally blue). 'COMPLETE NUT & BOLT RESTORATION BY FATHER & SON ENTHUSIASTS WITH OWNERSHIP SINCE 1997'. The father (a skilled engineer by trade) has devoted hundreds of hours in the meticulous restoration of this labour of love. 'THOUSANDS ££££££ SPENT'. Hundreds of new parts too many to list ~ just look at the pictures. He starts on first turn and runs very well with smooth gears and light clutch. Good tyres all round and nearly new on rears. Over £3. 00 in parts receipts alone!!!. A pair of colour coded bumpers also come with Bertie. Over forty years young this stunning Beetle is tax exempt and very economical to insure under classic insurance. The mot runs until April 2015 with no advisories. Taxed until March 2015 (free of course). Lots of photos of the lifecycle of the restoration.
