A stunning low mileage car. This non division sports Saloon by Park Ward has covered just 91. 00 miles during its life & is well suited to an owner driver. You absolutely have to drive the car to appreciate how good it is & how well it compares to a tired high mileage chassis.

The car is mechanically perfect. The car starts instantly & runs in total silence. So quiet is it that one wonders if the engine is still turning when at idle. One can set it ever lower on the governor until the fan blades are clearly visible & barely turning. The steering is taut with no play whatsoever in it. The one shot lubrication system is all connected & working perfectly. The under bonnet klaxon emits a particularly meliflous note. Being a late '34 Chassis it is fitted with the later "cats Back" style carburettor.

To the exterior is superb deep burgundy paint over equally superb black presenting the car beautifully. A single side-mount spare sits on the running board.

The interior is original burgundy leather in stunning condition. The sort of leather that is impossible to replicate. It is matching in both the front & the rear & extends to the door cards. Beautiful Walnut picnic tables fold out from the front seat backs. Matching foot rests fold from the bottoms of the front seat backs.

The dash is a large slab of highly figured Walnut with its requisite instruments all in place & all working. The later kneeling mascot introduced in 1935 is fitted to the Radiator. All large tools are in their appointed places under the bonnet. A battery cut off switch is fitted to the rear foot well.

Driving this car is an exquisite experience. It pulls along in total silence & walks up steepish hills in top without the need for recourse to third. When you drive a car like this that is absolutely "right" it gives you pause to realize how many of these cars are "not right". Oil pressure is superb at over 30lbs & the car runs cool at 60 degrees or so. Recent works include an overhaul of the Steering system & new rubbers to the running boards. The car was just driven to the RREC Picnic at Wimpole hall & never put a foot wrong!

Those readers of a particularly pedantic nature may have noticed that the car was photographed in none other then the grounds of the family home of one C. S. Rolls. Most appropriate we thought.

The car has this year had a thorough overhaul of the steering system. Likewise new running board rubbers have been fitted. The car attended this years RREC picnic at Wimpole Hall & never put a foot wrong.
