OFFERED:

A 1973 Rover P6 2000 TC.   In very good order throughout.   1970s Mango [ orange ] leather interior - this is a very popular colour for P6 owners.   Exterior is Lunar Grey [ which is a rather grand title for a colour which rather resembles a sage green ].

This car has a comprehensive history file which includes M. O. T certificates going back at least three decades.   It's original purchase receipt is present. as well as various manuals etc.   It was subject to a major professional refurbishment in the late 1980s [ then cost £1. 73. 00!! ]. and more recently the engine has been rebuilt - so clock is showing just 11. 50 on the rebuilt engine [ all documentation relating to these works are present ].   We have given the car a new Master Cylinder and Servo. and a new heavy duty battery [ which still carried the whole of it's 4 year warranty ].

We bought the car a few months ago as we wanted a P6.   But have since found an older 1965 model.   As good as this car is. we just can't find the time to use two of them & have other old cars as well.   So one of the P6s has to go.   As the older car was originally bought in our home town it is greater sentimental value.   The car has been fully checked over by the mechanics we usually employ. and has been given a clean bill of health.   It has 12 months tax [ free ] and the MOT expires in February 2015.   Following Government changes to classic car taxation. this vehicle is now tax exempt and we have had its class re-registered as 'Historic'.   It doesn't have black plates but its original ones. although these presumably could now be added if you wished.

This vehicle drives like a new car. and has recently been over to Bexhill and Hastings from East Kent. with ease. No advisories on last MOT.

Car has a fully working CD player / radio.

Bad points: Very few.

One or two spots of light bubbling. and a couple of stone chips to the bonnet.   Drivers seat has a small amount of wear to the edges. but is not split and unless very fussy. doesn't need replacing. Fuel gage is temperamental and often reads empty was car refuelled - but this is a simple repair.

PLEASE STUDY ALL THE PHOTOGRAPHS AS THESE FORM AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE LISTING DESCRIPTION.

IF WANTING MORE PHOTOS. OR THOSE OF SPECIFIC AREAS OF THE CAR; PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE DO TEXT OR PHONE ME ON 07514642130.

I'm not Arthur Daley or Max Branning - just an individual selling my motor.   The above description is as honest as I can give.   However. that does not infer that I am a mug.   This is a real classic Rover. and these are rapidly increasing in price.   This is not a matchbox version. and although 1970s is not available from me at a retro pocket money price.   I have a secret pet hate in life. and that is people who always expect something for nothing.   There is no such thing. so please don't insult my intelligence in trying it on with me.   I am a fair person. and am willing to consider sensible offers.   Cash on collection please.

CAR IS IN MARGATE. KENT.

Added 27/04/13: Forgot to mention that the baby seat [ photo 7 ] suits this car's interior really well. The eventual buyer is welcome to it if they would like it.
