1958 Volkswagen VW Beetle Uk Supplied RHD

For regrettable sale is my Right Hand Drive 1958 Volkswagen Beetle. I have owned this car for 13 years and am really sad to be letting it go but I have grown up.  I am now a husband. dad to a 1 year old and due to family and work I am not getting to use it.   Being a 1958 vehicle it is now mot exempt as well as tax exempt. I have been using it without having an mot for the last year or so but just put it through an mot before selling it for piece of mind. The only advisories were both front wheel bearings have slight play which they always do due to the design of bearing  but I will adjust them just incase.

Within the last year or so I have replaced the master cylinder. all wheel cylinders. all brake shoes. all copper brake pipes and hoses. It is running on 6 Volt electrics and the semaphores are working. There is an old radio that used to work. It still lights up but there is no sound. There is a company who repair old valve car radios and I was going to get it done one day.

It is running a slightly later 1200cc engine which runs like clockwork and will happily cruise along with modern traffic. Before I acquired the car it had all the usual beetle rust areas replaced. Inner wings and heater channels etc.   They are still good today and it won't need welding for a very long time. The frame head bottom plate was replaced recently as it had a repair and was starting to need repair again so to look nicer a complete bottom was fitted professionally.

The paint work is presentable but is not perfect. Some panels are slightly different shades and there are micro blisters and a few scabs etc which is expected for a 56 year old car. It has never bothered me as it has patina and adds to its charm.

All 4 tyres are near new. They have white wall flaps fitted which can be removed if they are not to your taste.

It currently has lap belts fitted in the front but there is the 3 point at shoulder height should you wish to fit 3 points.
