TVR Grantura
Model TVR Grantura sports car of the British company TVR, published in 4 generations in the 1958-1967 years. The first TVR Grantura with the type of body compartments were going to manually with a different set, and the company even offered to buy a car in a disassembled state. TVR Grantura of the first generation were equipped with engines by 1.1, 1.2 or 1,6 litres and drum brakes.
In the TVR Grantura put only the 1.6-litre motor, claiming speed of up to 160 km/hour. Front brakes replaced disk, while the rear and has a drum. Rack and pinion management has become a standard for TVR Grantura of this generation. The third Assembly of TVR Grantura has acquired independent suspension and long chassis. Among other things, the third generation may be equipped with a 1.8-liter engine.
The final fourth version of TVR Grantura - the most "rare" the beast. The machine has received wider wheels, were more likely to participate in the race, rather than for the "city" drive. Interestingly, and TVR Grantura second and third generation also were reconstructed in the early 60's for the participation in the race.
