Austin Mini Metro
Austin Mini Metro is korotkobaznaya version of the world-famous classic British car Mini, which was produced under different brands of British Automotive Corporation. Another name for this model - Mini Shortie ("little shrimp").
Mini Metro appeared in the end of 60th years on the wave of popularity of a small and nimble machines Mini, which have gained popularity, both in the UK and abroad. The engineers decided to create on its basis the "funcar", that is not a serious car for promotional and entertainment purposes.
Mini Shortie have a shorter wheelbase (even less than the modern cars Smart) and double salon. The entire engine line-up from the usual Mini fixed and a shortened version. The most powerful, of the 1.2 liter, could drive a shred up to 140 km/h.
Basically Austin Mini Metro produced in the back of a convertible with a removable top, but several cars in the back of the coupe with a rigid roof also saw the light. The cabriolets there was no door, the back was the type of monokok, in which we had to jump over the side of the car.
Year of release: 1967-1984.

In the car were the engines volume of 0.85, 1 and 1.2-liter 4-speed manual transmission.
